The Centribel Story: The transition from paper to all-digital
Centribel is a small structure active in the circular economy and upcycling. Their business model is twofold: they receive soil and construction waste (e.g., large construction sites on roads or in buildings) for a fee, treat/recycle them, then resell the transformed materials (gravel, concrete, sorted soil, etc.) to professionals or individuals. They operate in the same sector as Tradecowall, a larger structure from which they purchased the technical solution.
Their needs
Centribel had the desire to digitalize their entire process in an ERP software. Before the implementation of Odoo, a large part of these were still on paper.
Their main needs were:
Complete digitalization: Moving away from paper/Excel management to transition to a 100% digital tool.
Reverse flow management: Customer sales can generate material receipts and, conversely, a purchase can trigger the delivery of material.
Simplicity and support: Adapting the tool to a team with very low technological maturity with increased support and training.
The Idealis solution
The deployed solution is an adaptation of the Odoo base (initially developed for Tradecowall, their competitor), but adjusted to a smaller structure.
- Main modules: Sales and Inventory to manage incoming and outgoing flows.
- Production Specificity: Use of a personalized flow and not the standard Odoo Manufacturing module because their process is reversed: one material can be transformed into several at the exit.
- Receipt Management: The receipt of soil is technically managed as a "Sale" (billing for the deposit service) coupled with an incoming stock movement.
- Services encoding: Use of Odoo for encoding worker service sheets.
- Maintenance management: Integration of their preventive and corrective maintenance management.
